To identify, nurture and grow new business opportunities and stimulate demand for RFID hardware –– active and passive tags, readers, and complete solutions –– we are seeking Agents/Representatives for Business Development for (1) Southern and Eastern Europe, as well as (2) Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. These two positions are located in Europe.

What you will be doing

You know who uses these services and how this service fits into the global consumer and business electronics hardware ecosystem.

You will be responsible for building relationships for Syrma services, including serving as a subject matter expert on the above products and EMS industry. You will also work closely with the marketing team to ensure all customer satisfaction goals are met.

A successful candidate will possess first-rate relationship, analytic, and strategic thinking skills. She or he will have previous experience in industry with existing OEM relationships in (some/all) of the following: medical, telecom, industrial, automotive, defense. She or he will serve as an advocate for the customer to the development team, pulling in relevant data and experiences to help the team. Overall, the Sales Representative will focus on making Syrma’s services world-class and the best possible solution in the contract electronics manufacturing market.

Key Requirements

  • Strong passion and drive to make a difference by linking customers to the tools that meet the ever-changing needs of consumer electronics and beyond.
  • Ability to broker partnerships.
  • A fluid understanding of the key market segments of Industrial, medical, telecom, automotive and aerospace agencies and how to develop leads through networking from manager to senior level executives.
  • Effective in working independently and in a remote environment.
  • Experience in successfully set individual sales quota goal and consistently meet and exceed the targets ideally in a mid-sized OEM market.
  • Experience in building, maintaining, and communicating sales forecasts to the the Syrma team.
  • Experience in initiating, planning and executing contracts through the relationship cycle. This will include developing a list of prospects from directories, trade and professional publications and organizations.
  • Excellent ability to communicate customer needs to the marketing and product teams as a key liaison between sales representatives, customers and company’s cross functional teams.
  • Exhibit a good connect to the external space/market and to help the executive team at Syrma during the development of strategic plans.
  • Experience working with B2B technology companies in the European market.
